Jaycee Camp Hope is a statewide residential camp for mentally challenged persons, located in Clemson, SC.
Instructional Swimming, Canoeing, Pontoon Boat Rides, Fishing, Crafts, Nature Activities, Drama, Overnight Camping Trips, Group Games, Singing, Cookouts, Campfire Programs, Archery, Special Events
Five summer sessions are held throughout the summer. (Children-Teens-Adults)
The South Carolina Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) have provided financial support for every camper attending camp Hope since 1969.
The Jaycees were also instrumental in establishing the Outdoor Lab as a permanent home for Camp Hope in 1975 with a contribution of 125,000
To date, the Jaycees have subsidized more than 10,000 mentally challenged citizens at Camp Hope at a cost in excess of 1,300,000.
