Description
Helps unemployed and underemployed people find and keep living wage jobs. Provides the tools to find work and the post-hire support to maintain that status, including: a free four-step job readiness program, basic computer training, "A Perfect Fit" clothing boutique, and GED prep classes. Volunteers and staff work with clients to identify and remove barriers to employment, prepare job applications, create resumes, practice interviewing skills, and create a job search plan. "A Perfect Fit" clothing boutique provides clients with professional and personal hygiene tools for job search and first days on the job.
