Jack and Buena Foundation

The Jack and Buena Foundation provides scholarships to youth (primarily from California's Central Valley) to attend Camp Jack Hazard, an adventure wilderness camp in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Many lower income youth used to be able to attend through the County Services Agency of Stanislaus County but CSA dramatically cut funding in the past few years. The Jack and Buena Foundation gives youth, ages 7-18, from lower income families the ability to experience nature (sometimes for the first time) in a nurturing fun environment.
