Description
The Iraq Star Foundation's Mission is to "Not let the Iraq and Afghanistan wars permanently disfigure young lives." Comprised of 183 Board Certified Plastic and Reconsstructive surgeons in 38 states D.C., and Canada, Iraq Star provides free recon-structive surgery for the aesthetics that are so badly needed for our disfigured warriars.
Shrapnel is removed, burn scars treated, artillery wounds revised, etc. We address whatever scar is bothering the soldier and delaying his returning to his pre-war life.
Iraq Star pays for the soldier's transportation to their surgeon, hotel, food, aftercare, operating room, anesthesia, and medications. There is no expense to the soldier.
