Description
The Iowa City Free Medical Clinic (FMC) is a private non-profit organization, providing health care to those in need. The FMC currently provides a wide scope of acute and chronic outpatient medical care to those who do not have access to other health care providers, either for financial reasons or for reasons of confidentiality. We are committed to the concept of patient rights, including the right to receive medical treatment without moral or social judgment, and the right to privacy and confidentiality. Care is provided at no cost and within the contstraints imposed by the use of volunteers and limited resources.
