Description
The Intown Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school that opened August 9, 2010 in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. It provides a rigorous education in an innovative, community-based, setting that embodies the diversity, creativity, and global and entrepreneurial character of the surrounding intown communities. The Intown Academy opened with grades K-6 and will grow to K-8 in 2012. The school is also a 501c3 nonprofit organization. http://www.intownacademy.org
