Description
InTouch Networks is a radio reading service for the blind and visually impaired, and people with other physical or cognitive limitations that prevent them from reading printed material. InTouch broadcasts are received by individuals in their homes through special radios and in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities through bedside televisions. InTouch also distributes content to other radio reading services around the country and any qualified user can access closed circuit broadcasts through the password-protected website.
Volunteer readers, over 100 of them, most of whom are professional actors, actresses and voice-over artists read from newspapers and magazines, business and finance publications, and a host of other top-tier sources which material focuses on health, travel, entertainment, art, history, hobbies, leisure and more.
InTouch is a 501(c)(3) corporation funded solely through grants, donations and program underwriting.
