Organized in 1964 as the International Halfway House Association, ICCA represents some 1500 programs serving incarcerated adults and juveniles offering training, treatment, job placement and other prisoner reentry services. ICCA stands for "Doing What Works," identifying and promoting adoption of evidence-based best practices in community corrections through its annual research conferences, quarterly journal, and monthly e-newsletter.
