Description
The ICCD is a USA based not for profit ( 501(c) 3), organization working to improve the life circumstances of people living with serious mental illness. We do this by creating and supporting local resource centers in cities and towns throughout the United States and around the world called "Clubhouses". Clubhouses are programs modeled after the very successful Fountain House in New York City. Clubhouses help people with mental illnesses like schizophrenia and Bi-polar disorder. Our programs provide em[ployment opportunties, assistance with edcuation and housing and a base of support and friendship.
Clubhouses are one of the most successful community based programs for people with mental illness available today.
