Description

Interfaith Housing Services (IHS), a faith-based organization not affiliated with any religion, is a convergence of many denominations, civic organizations, social groups, businesses, and individuals who help meet the needs of our community. IHS envisions communities where equal opportunities for safe, affordable, accessible and quality housing services are available to everyone. Our mission is to develop, promote, and implement programs which assist persons of low to moderate incomes to meet their housing needs.

Interfaith Housing Services brings the housing needs of individuals to the attention of the community at large and then organizes the manpower, abilities, expertise and donations of those that want to "make a difference" so that help is provided where it is needed most. IHS serves to provide housing solutions to those least likely to find housing assistance in traditional means. This includes extensive work in providing both rental housing and ownership opportunities to people and families with both physical and developmental disabilities.
