Description
My name is Jacquie Strand and I work for a Non-Profit Organization, Interfaith Housing Development Corporation of Bucks County. We are located at 805 North Wilson Ave. Bldg 100 Unit 102 Bristol, PA 19007.
We provide homeless and low-income families with housing in Bucks County. We also have a warehouse that takes donations of everyday living essentials, such as, mattresses, sofas, kitchen items and bed linens and so on. We then provide our families the opportunity to come to the warehouse and take the items they need. Our families in need consist of Fire Victims that have lost everything, homeless that have just received the joy of becoming a homeowner through our homeownership program and Hurricane Katrina Victims from Project Thrive in Philadelphia. That is just a few.
We would not be able to do this without the help of our volunteers, who help us rehab the homes and serve the warehouse.
