Description
Interfaith Hospitality Network of Orange and Seminole Counties is a community based non-profit organization providing emergency shelter to homeless families with children throughout Orange and Seminole Counties, Florida. IHN partners with local faith congregations of all denominations to provide shelter in their facilities one week at a time on a rotating basis. Volunteers in the congregations serve as hosts and provide our guests with private living space, a warm, welcoming environment, hot meals and emotional support during their time of need. Professional case management services are provided at the IHN Day Center where families are assisted in job search efforts, securing day care and school enrollment for children, budgeting and other services necessary to achieve independence and a permanent home.
