The Institute of Shamanic Wisdom, Inc., (ISW) is a non-profit multi-disciplined charitable and educational organization located in Tucson, AZ, founded by Dr. Liana Carbón. Our mission is to promote indigenous earth-honoring wisdom and healing practices through cross-cultural experiences; teach cross-cultural shamanism and other complementary healing modalities through apprenticeships and teacher certification programs worldwide; protect and support the medicine people of indigenous cultures; protect ancestral sacred sites and tribal lands; provide solutions for personal and global transformation and healing. Through ongoing instructive and experiential programs, such as seminars, group and individual retreats, journeys, life ceremonies, and private healing session, we strive for the self-empowerment, spiritual wellness and personal growth of our clients.
