Description

ISHK is an educational charity dedicated to bringing contemporary scientific insights about human nature into public awareness. It includes publishers Malor Books (publishing books in various areas of the social sciences) and Hoopoe Books (editions of traditional Afghani folk tales for children). Through their Share Literacy program, ISHK also donates Hoopoe Books and provides literacy teaching support to selected programs that help economically disadvantaged children. In conjunction with Afghanistan's Ministry of Education, ISHK has also started a Books for Afghanistan program, distributing Dari editions of Hoopoe Books to Afghani children.
