I*ACT is a 501 (c) 3 dedicated to transforming health care by strengthening dialogue between conventional health care professionals and traditional healing therapists, stimulating research, and providing traditional healing therapies in conventional medical environments to benefit people who would not otherwise know of these therapies and to demonstrate their value in supporting conventional health care. www.complementary-therapies.org see particularly the program which provides Reiki treatment to cancer patients at St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center in New York City.
