Innoko River School

We are a very small rural, remote K-12 public school in the interior of Alaska. Our student population is 100% Deg Hitan Athabaskan Native America. We are the last remaining village on the Innoko River in the interior. Our community has about 80 people total. We live a subsistence lifestyle, depending on land for our food. Our kids participate in hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmachines, hauling wood for fuel, basketball, Native Youth Olympics and bike riding.
