Description
Independent Resources, (IRI), is a 501 (c), ndependent Living organization that work with people who have many types of disabilities. IRI has a trained staff, who themselves have disabilities, that work with adult men and women. The core services are advocacy, information and referral, peer-counseling and support. IRI also have a Def and hard of hearing program, also a program for the blind, that help individuals learn computer training, and a Transitional program that help people that wish to become independent and move into the community from nursing facilities or other institutions.
The services are free to those who need help.
