Description
The mission of ILRC is "To empower all people with a disability to live independent and self-empowered lives". The purpose of the ILRC is to provide programs and services to assist and empower individuals with cross-disabilities (all types) in obtaining and maintaining a lifestyle of independence. In accordance with the independent living philosophy, ILRC is committed to the concept of being consumer-driven and consumer-choice in an equal access manner. The ILRC is supported by private and public funds to provide the four core services: information and referral, peer counseling, advocacy and independent living skills training.
