Implosion Press, publisher of epitome magazine, is the only nonprofit organization in the Northeast Ohio area producing a free, bi-monthly magazine that focuses on the literary, artistic, creative, personal and professional successes and contributions of women in our community. Each issue of epitome includes a variety of articles of local interest, as well as poetry, written works, artwork and other creative expressions contributed by Northeast Ohio women. These contributions make epitome a true reflection of the wonderful and multi-faceted voices in our area–voices which otherwise would not be heard as no other local publication provides this type of forum. In addition, epitome helps increase community awareness of local resources and highlights the accomplishments of local women who have made a difference in our community.
