IMPI Robotics is a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity that teaches students at Ferndale High School about basic engineering principles, teamwork, problem solving, strategy and basic life skills. The team builds a robot from the ground up in six weeks for competition in a FIRST event. Students also learn programming, build a website, have the opportunity to make an animation,
perform charitable activities, do demonstrations, and releases team news to the media. The team was established in 2007.
