Description
Impact Young Adults (IYA) is a community for young adults with mental illness. The mission of IYA is to support young adults with mental illness, ages 18-35, in their desire to change their experience from one of social isolation and inadequacy to one of inclusion and accomplishment. IYA envisions young adults with mental illness as visible, capable, and active members of society that believe in themselves and their place in the world. IYA achieves this by creating an accepting community with social activities, mentoring, and leadership opportunities.
