Description
IMPACT Family Counseling is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides affordable, professional counseling services to children, youth, & families in the Birmingham area.
IMPACT offers 5 programs:
Family Strengthening- 9 week program that targets teens, ages 12-18, & their families.
Successful Schools Program- prevention/ intervention services for students, grades K-12, in Jefferson County schools
Relationships that Matter, Keeping the Promise- 6 week marriage enrichment course, Preparing for a Future Home- 6 weeks of pre-marital coaching, Fighting for your Relationship- a 6 week workshop to rebuild relationships, Stepping Stones for a Strong Blended Family- 6 hour seminar designed to help two merging families
Outpatient Counseling – private therapy services to individuals, families, couples, or groups on a sliding scale fee.
Mentoring Children of Prisoners- a community based, one-on-one mentoring program that serves children of incarcerated parents.
