Description
The Immokalee Foundation is dedicated to building pathways to success for the children of Immokalee by emphasizing education, vocation, and like skills. Immokalee is a small farming community about 40 miles east of coastal Naples, Fl. Ninety percent of the children in Immokalee schools live at or below the national poverty line. Only 25% of adults living in the community have a high school diploma. Menoring and scholarship programs are offered to students and have been effective vehicles to help kids succeed .
