Idaho Shakespeare Festival

The Idaho Shakespeare Festival serves over 105,000 individuals annually, providing professional arts and arts education to growing, diverse audiences in Idaho and nearby states. Its popular outdoor summer season, “Shakespeare under the Stars,” offers main stage productions of classical and contemporary plays and musicals each year. In addition, the Festival provides a wide range of programming and outreach activities throughout the year that support and enhance its educational mission. The programs Shakespearience and Idaho Theater for Youth, Matinees at the Festival, our year-round Drama School, professional intern and apprentice opportunities, the Young Company and the summer season’s Camp Shakespeare, Camp Improv and Camp Musical all fufill the Idaho Shakespeare Festival's mission; to produce great theater, entertain and educate.
