International Centers for Appropriate Technology and Indigenous Sustainability (iCATIS) seeks to be an agent of prosperity for communities in need by developing a contract with a community and, together, conceive and craft a project founded with goals of economic self-sufficiency without sacrificing cultural norms or the ecology. Each project will be as unique in character as the hosting community. iCATIS provides experienced in-kind engineering, architecture, planning and other professional services and seeks investments of seed money, but relies solely on the community’s initiative and commitment for the project’s sustainability.
