Registered non-profit tax-exempt volunteer organization providing hunger relief to the homeless and needy of Little Rock, Arkansas.
HFA is 100% community supported, and receives no gov't funding.
Operating out of the Stewpot, a soup kitchen in down Little Rock, we provide not only food, but also counseling and referral to other services with whom we network; mental health, substance abuse treatment, job training, GED, housing, legal services, medical services, SS, Medicaid, handicapped assistance, veterans' services, spiritual support, and more. We also collect clothing, winter coats, and work boots.
We strive to provide a pleasant, upbeat atmosphere, smiles and encouragement.
