Description

The HSEP Cause:
Enhance ongoing education programs. Find a home for every orphaned animal. Prevent cruelty.
Perpetuate the bond between animals and humans

HSEP Community Services:
Pet Adoption - One of the highest adoption rates in Texas. Vaccination/Rabies Control - All dogs & cats receive their 1st shots before leaving the shelter. Spay/Neuter Program - 4,000 pets in 2004.
Humane Education - Year-round presentations about pet ownership & care. Sharing Sam - Presentations to nearly 10,000 local youngsters each year. Paws for Love - Specialists and their animals visit patients in hospitals, nursing & retirement centers to play a role in patient recovery.
