Description
Humane Ohio's mission is to end companion animal overpopulation with community education and sterilization programs for cats and dogs through collaborative efforts with shelters and rescue groups in the Greater Toledo area.
We achieve this by operating a high volume spay/neuter clinic that performs 7,000 surgeries a year for rescues,shelters, pets from families on limited income and from the elderly and students, and strays. We also provide educational talks about spay/neuter to schools, neighborhood associations, and social service agencies. Our website offers resources on animal issues such as lost and found, where to adopt, and pet behavior issues.
