Description

HELP (Human and Environment Linkage Programme) is an international non-profit organization focusing on community-based environmental and biodiversity conservation. We believe that human beings and the environment are tightly interdependent, and we put all efforts on improving the conditions of both the human and natural systems in ecologically fragile areas and enhancing the environmental awareness of the public. The major area we are working on thus far is the world-famous Wolong Nature Reserve for Giant Pandas located in Sichuan, China. In the last two years, HELP has helped four local schools to building their libraries with more than 3000 books and provided financial support to more than 30 local students. In 2008, after the devastating 8.0-magnitude earthquake in Sichuan, China, whose epicenter was right on the eastern border of Wolong, HELP has carried out multiple projects on earthquake relief in Wolong, please check our website www.HelpPanda.org for details.
