Description

HOBY was started by the actor Hugh O'Brian in 1958. It seeks to influence the best and brighest high school sophomore leaders to appreciate their civic responsibility to lead and to contribute to a better democracy and a greater free enterprise system. Each spring, HOBY conducts approximately 70 Leadership Seminars throughout the US and Canada, with HOBY-style programs in Mexico, Hong Kong and Isreal. The HOBY Leadership Seminars prepare high school sophomores to become effective, ethical leaders in their school, workplace, community and home.
