Description

Houston Hospice, a nonprofit organization, has been providing end-of-life care to Houston and surrounding communities since 1980. The agency provides compassionate, dignified, nonprofit services to patients and families facing the challenge of terminal illness in its last stages.

Hospice care is provided in a home, or residential facility such as a nursing home, with the Hospice interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and volunteers providing services and support.

Houston Hospice serves all or part of Harris, Waller, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Wharton, Matagorda, Austin, Colorado, Brazoria, Galveston and Jackson counties, through its main office site and three alternate delivery sites in The Texas Medical Center, North Harris and in El Campo, TX. Since its inception, Houston Hospice has provided care and support to over 10,000 patients and many times that number of family members.
