Description

Houston Ear Research Foundation was founded in 1983, dedicated to medical research and education of the hearing impaired. Our primary function is the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of newborns, young children, and adults identified with severe to profound hearing loss. We provide immediate services in the way of loaner hearing aids, rehabilitation therapy, and information regarding appropriate treatment. If indicated, we provide cochlear implant surgery, programming of the device, and education/therapy to train parents and adults to maximize the use of their cochlear implants.
