Description
Housing Partnership of Northeast Florida, Inc. was organized and incorporated in February 1992 following a series of meetings between representatives of local neighborhood groups, businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. These civic leaders believed that Jacksonville needed a community-based organization, whose function was to develop, operate and coordinate efforts to enhance the availability of safe, clean, affordable housing.
The Housing Partnership is led by a very strong, experienced 15-member Board of Directors which is drawn from all areas of the city. The board reflects the community-based nature of the Housing Partnership, as it includes representatives of neighborhood organizations and the private sector.
