Description
The House of the Good Shepherd is a comprehensive human services agency, founded in 1872, offering treatment to more than 600 children and their families a year. The mission of The House is to provide care that changes children's lives. Our goal is to help children and families, who are struggling with serious emotional, social, and behavioral problems, discover their ability to succeed. Services include a Residential Treatment Center, a Continued Care Program, long-term psychiatric care, Tilton School, a children's shelter and transition group home, foster homes, preventive services, Non-Secure Detention Services, and a Non-Secure Detention Diversion program. The House is certified by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
