Description
The House of Hope has two House of Hope Programs ( Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah) that serve addicted women, mothers, and their children, and a co-ed program, Serenity House, in Ogden that serves addicted men and women. These programs provide residential, day treatment, and outpatient services to low/moderate income clients and families.
All clients undergo a thorough assessment process which helps determine an individualized treatment plan for the level of care required. Group, Individual, and Family therapy; drug abuse education; relapse prevention; cognitive behavioral and motivational enhancement techniques; lifeskills; parenting skills; behavior management; and aftercare services are integral parts of the progam.
Children receive care while their mothers attend treatment at the House of Hope, and a focus is placed on physical, social, and emotional growth and development appropriate for their ages.
