The House of Broel Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. This historic mansion museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history and culture of greater New Orleans. Located in the Historic Garden District of New Orleans, it supports the preservation and maintenance of the historic house and gardens at 2220 St. Charles Avenue and of the museum areas consisting of historically accurate scale model mansions, houses, shops and vignettes filled with elaborately costumed action figures and decor; a history of 2220 St. Charles Avenue - the Gateway to the Garden District; an exhibit featuring the Louisiana Frog Farm belonging to Ms. Broel’s father. It offers a non-clinical environment where doctors and complementary healing professionals can meet with others for education and discussion. The foundation assures that this national treasure will remain intact and available for research and exhibition to the public keeping the doors of House of Broel open for generations to come.
