Description
The House, Incorporated, A Student Leadership Center, serves youth grades 4-12 from the Greater Washington, DC area. The House provides after-school and weekend programming designed with today’s young people in mind. Since opening its doors in Woodbridge, VA in November 2005, The House has developed a remarkable track-record of attracting at-risk students and impacting them through its successful tutoring and mentoring programs, as well as athletic, leadership and life-skill opportunities, such as CPR Training, conflict resolution, cultural diversity training, career exploration, dance and community service through random acts of kindness, all at one location. The students also receive a full meal each afternoon.
