Description
Hostelling International is a 501 (c) 3 membership organization whose mission is “to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling”. Not only do hostels make traveling more affordable, they provide a forum for cultural exchange that is more important than ever in today’s world. Every year, HI-San Diego hosts thousands of travelers from across the globe at our locations in the Gaslamp Quarter and Point Loma.
In addition to hostels, HI-San Diego provides young people with opportunities to become engaged, thoughtful global citizens through our youth education and outreach programs. Some of our recent community partners include the Girl Scouts, YMCA and several schools throughout San Diego County.
