The North Texas Council of Hostelling International-USA is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization delivering the mission of HI-USA, "To help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling."
Since its founding in 1909, hostelling has grown into a global movement. By providing safe, affordable accomodations which promote the experiental education of travel, hostelling has made a unique and notable contribution to cross-cultural understanding in the United States and worlwoide.
In 2005 alone, more than 34 million overnight stays were welcomed by more than 4000 hostels worldwide. And in the U.S., nearly one million overnight stays by visitors from over 100 countries were hosted.
An international hostel in the Dallas-Ft.Worth is the main goal of the NTC-USA. Please help us realize that goal.
