Description

Since its founding, Hospice St. Joseph has been dedicated to working side by side with our Haitian brothers and sisters to improve life in Haiti. Our mission is to provide an environment in which the presence of Jesus and his loving care can be experienced by all who come through our doors.
Our rHealth Care clinicprovides medical consultation and medicines, as well as room and board for the sick who need to come into the city for surgery or hospitalization. Our Food Program for Malnourished Children aids young mothers who are in need of help with nutritional needs. School Sponsorships povide educational opportunities for elementary and high school pupils, opening the door to a better life for many young Haitians. Our Guest/Retreat House offers a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for visitors. A stay at Hospice is sure to make newcomers aware of what life in Haiti truly entails.
Hospice St. Joseph operates under the auspices of the Diocese of Norwich, CT.
