Description
Hospice of the Comforter provides advanced pain management with certified palliative care professionals; a host of services for patients and caregivers provided by trained volunteers; and critical, 11th-hour care for those at the end of life. Counseling, chaplain services and social services are provided to help families deal with their fears and concerns. Extensive bereavement counseling is offered to surviving adults and children for up to thirteen months. Other programs offered by Hospice of the Comforter to support patients and their families include home delivery of medical equipment, pharmacy services, pet therapy and massage therapy.
