Description
H.I.M. is an organization based in the Little Rock, Arkansas that supports the community leaders, pastors, and teachers in a rural community in Haiti called Pignon. H.I.M. has a huge emphasis on education, with a school with over 850 children (Pre-K thru 13th gr), and smaller schools in even more remote areas. They also have 2 foster homes. Other projects include the edification of local businesses, churches, and haiti's first-ever successful Electricity Co-op. HIM hosts many american work teams each year that do a variety of services for this impoverished community including contruction projects, children's camps, medical/dental clinics, teacher training, & food-provision. In addition, they also have a child-sponsorship program that enables countless children to go to school, who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity. Please consider accepting this charity.
