Description
Horses For Hope is a 501 3c non-profit organization that focuses on a simple mission. We offer children with cancer (and their families) horseback riding events to help them take their minds off their illness and the side effects related to cancer treatment. Our activities are aimed to share the personal growth and enhance self esteem that spending time with horses provides. Even more importantly, the events encourage families to share their stories with others. We realize that children afflicted with cancer have a lot of attention focused on them because of their illness. It is our goal to provide a magical day for the ill child, and a special memory for brothers, sisters, parents and special family members.
