Description
We provide forensic interviews of children who law enforcement or SRS (or other community agencies) suspect have been either physically or sexually abused. In addition to the actual interview, the child and the non-offending caregiver and the family receive support services. We make sure that the child has the opportunity to receive a well-being physical or a SANE/SART (Sexual Abuse Nurse Examiner/Sexual Abuse Response Team) examination, provide referrals for mental health services, provide access to the Crime Victim's Compensation Act funds for mental health and other services, and follow-up services.
