Description
The Gila County Safe Home is a program of Horizon Human Services, which is a 501(c) 3 non-profit agency. We’ve been in operation since 1998 and our service area includes the communities of Globe, Miami, Superior, Roosevelt, Kerney, Winkleman, San Carlos, Peridot, Bylas, Roosevelt, Tonto Basin, various other areas within the Valley, as well as out of state. We provide many services to victims of domestic violence, including emergency temporary housing, a 24-hour crisis line, referrals to other agencies, case management, transportation, domestic violence education to both participants of our program and the community, and many other services.
