Description

HopeSparks is a not-for-profit counseling agency that focuses our resources on low-income families and children that have been abused. The agency has been strengthening families since it was known as Associated Charities, founded in 1895. Our geographic focus reaches beyond our community in the heart of Tacoma to all corners of Pierce County. The mission of the HopeSparks is: “We strengthen families by inspiring courage and confidence to make a lasting change.” We achieve our stated mission of strengthening families from a number of different approaches, each method oriented on the restoration of broken marriages, families, and the lives of children — typically most of them extremely low income and unable to afford the full cost of the services we provide.
