Description

Hope Through Health (HTH) is a non-profit organization that was created in August 2004 to provide financial and technical support to community health initiatives in resource poor settings. HTH was founded in the spirit of social justice with the mission to ensure health as a human right. We believe that health is more than simply the absence of disease or infection but includes the promotion of social, economic, educational, and spiritual well-being.

HTH seeks long-term partnerships with established, local organizations that are committed to improving the health of their community. We believe community-based initiatives coordinated on a global scale are a viable approach to addressing inequalities in global health. By supporting existing public health, medical, and/or educational efforts we can strengthen community resources, making them more effective.
