Description
HOPE Therapeutic Riding Program offers equine facilitated activities to children, adults and families that are experiencing challenging circumstances. These circumstances can include, but are not limited to: physical, social, emotional, mental, and developmental disabilities, crisis, trama or injury recovey. While learning horsemanship skills, some of the benefits that riders experience are: enhanced self-confidence and self esteem, expanded empathy and sense of empowerment, experiencing success in a supportive environment, strengthening positive social interactions and teamwork, and mastery of difficult tasks while learning how to groom, tack, lead and ride as independently as possible. We depend on volunteers to make our program possible.
