Description
Hope Street Kids is a pediatric cancer initiative in partnership with CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation. The program was founded by former Congresswoman Deborah Pryce (OH) and Randy Walker, in memory of their nine-year-old daughter, Caroline Pryce Walker, who lost a valiant battle against neuroblastoma in September 1999.
The mission of Hope Street Kids is to eliminate childhood cancer through pioneering research, advocacy and education.
Since inception, the organization has raised more than $10 million in support of its Pediatric Cancer Research Grants and Fellowships Program. This includes over 90 grants and fellowships to 34 leading institutions across the country.
