Description
Hope Haven is a non-profit organization responding to the needs of child and adult victims of rape, sexual assault and incest.
Hope Haven provides a number of services including child forensic interviews, crisis counseling, victim advocacy and family support and survivors groups. In addition they employ a full-time pediatric nurse practitioner for forensic medical evaluations. The organization also offers community awareness risk reduction education.
Some of Hope Havens partners include local hospitals, Beaufort Pediatrics, which assists in proper forensic medical evaluations, as well as local law enforcement, the solicitors office and Department of Social Services (DSS) to aid in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse and neglect cases. Hope Haven is committed to monitoring case progress and tracking case outcomes.
